Well, folks, this one’s gonna be another of those mega posts! Before I start with the rest, though, please allow me a moment to post this first photo, which makes me grin every single time I look at it:

I call this the “McChicken Munch”. The traditional-looking bride and groom, posed so perfectly in the background, really do make the shot! I love it!
Raj and Eileen’s wedding was so much fun! We’ve worked with Raj in a professional sense before – he’s one of our favorite videographers, and we’ve been bumping into him at various weddings over the years. We feel especially privileged to have been chosen to photograph his wedding.
Here are some photos from Day 1!

A pretty detail of Eileen’s hand:

A very sweet photo of Raj and his mom:

Eileen and her adorable niece!

I met this horse earlier this year at Joti and Shawn’s wedding. We’re good friends now, so I made sure to get a really awesome portrait of him!

This was our first Hindu ceremony, and it was totally beautiful (and really funny- the priest was full of great jokes!) I took a couple of university classes on Hindu tradition a few years ago, so I was really excited about all the details.

Raj’s family laughing while he waits for Eileen and her parents to arrive.

The tiny flowergirl – so cute!!

Raj sees Eileen!

This curtain was between Raj and Eileen for the first few minutes of the ceremony. The priest explained how this particular tradition stems from arranged marriages, when the groom and bride wouldn’t see each other until the day of their marriage. The sheet that Raj and Eileen chose to divide them, however, had a heart cut-out! Bonus cute points!

Eileen laughs as the curtain is pulled away.

Raj and Eileen are both pretty short – their families had a bit of fun with that!

The stone is a symbol of the stability of their union.

So much heartfelt happiness and laughter.

More red curtains! On stage at Convocation hall!

Day 2 – The reception!
Getting ready for another action packed day!!

Looking handsome!

Another hilarious photo – check out the guy falling off his bike!

Raj and Eileen had a red carpet academy awards theme to their reception. Their entrance, complete with paparazzi!

Those paparazzi – they’re everywhere!
