Calvin and Irene’s wedding was a total blast – some of my favorite photos of the year, for sure! Click here to take a look at the slideshow for the entire day. And below are a few highlights!
Irene’s bridesmaid helps her into her fabulous shoes:

Calvin sees his bride-to-be for the first time that day before the morning tea ceremony with her family. This photo is so cute – Irene looks so excited to see him!

The adorable flowergirl – I’m always looking for symmetry in random moments – check out the two ladies with folded hands in the background, and the flowers.

The paparazzi goes crazy as Irene comes down the aisle!

Strolling down the Ave!

Irene looks so beautiful here!

We did some wedding party photos at the University, more of which you can see in the slideshow…

… and then we headed to my absolute favorite place to shoot photos in Edmonton – Fort Edmonton Park! I love love love it there because you can’t help but walk around and have fun looking at all the cool stuff… and to get good photos, I think you need to be having a genuinely good time!
In front of the old fashioned carousel!

The midway and amusement park made for some awesome shots!

Calvin makes a pretty convincing farmer!

My favorite photo from the day is right here. It’s so rewarding and somewhat rare to envision something, and then get that shot, but even better than what you’d imagined. So cool!

This sweet little girl did a dance routine to make the bride and groom kiss – she was just SO serious and intense about it – just look at her face!

At Chinese weddings, the families of the bride and groom join them to toast each and every table – it’s one of my favorite events to photograph – all the action and crowds and smiling faces!

Thanks for the amazing time, Irene and Calvin!
