Sonia & Harman’s Indian wedding – part one

Sonia and Harman’s wedding was huge, elegant and above all, surreally beautiful. It’s the biggest wedding I’ve photographed in 300 weddings and 14 years of shooting (with over 800 guests!) and it was also, in all honesty, one of the most jaw-droppingly beautiful.

Part of that was all the glitz and glam you’re about to see, but it’s also because Harman and Sonia are both awesome people – they are super happy together, they have amazing smiles, and vibrant friendly personalities – the works!

I can’t even pick a favorite detail – there was just too much awesome everywhere. Live performance by super-famous and awesome Bhangra Singer Malkit Singh, amazing live flower jewelry by FaBloomOsity, glittery henna by Henna Art – I have to stop here or this whole post becomes a big list of stuff, and you’d rather see photos, I hope. Anyhow, here is part one of my many favorites. Thank you to my incredible second photographer Derek Bisbing, who captured most of the photos of the events occuring on Harman’s side of the family over these 5 action packed days of partying.
