Swathi and Neil’s wedding is summed up perfectly by their awesome wedding hashtag #banglesandbanjos – theirs is the story of a small town Saskatchewan boy falling in love with a gorgeous Hindu girl, and having the best wedding ever. (Who would have thought cowboy boots go so well with dressy Indian clothes?) My favorite part of this wedding was seeing how overjoyed both Swathi and Neil’s families were about this union – every face was smiling and laughing all day long. I loved watching Neil’s family enjoy and embrace the traditional Hindu wedding blessing and ceremony, and it reminded me of the first time I experienced all of those beautiful traditions myself.
These two cuties are made for each other, and it shows. Thanks Swathi and Neil for having so much fun on your big day(s) and bringing me along for the ride – I was finding bits of rice in my shoes and camera bag for weeks after! haha!
