Alison and Thierry

Alison and Thierry’s evening wedding was super beautiful and romantic. Everything went perfectly, and each detail – from the warm candlelight, to the flowers, to Alison’s amazing dress – was so pretty that I couldn’t believe that Alison planned it all from Vancouver, selecting vendors based on what she liked online, or what friends had recommended.
It also marked something really different for me – I took absolutely no posed photos!

It was refreshing, fun, and challenging to just be like a fly on the wall, capturing the evening as a journalist would. I loved every single second!

Here are a few of my favorite photos from their ceremony at St. Joachim Church in Edmonton, and their reception (with the yummiest food ever!) at The Marc.
