I don’t even know where to start with this beautiful day (almost one year later!) I adored Kaitlynn and Melanie the very second I met them – they were obviously so happy together and in love, and really funny and sweet. I knew their wedding would be an ultra amazing one. The ceremony was held in the Citadel Theater – an unconventional dark and shadowy space – dramatic and exciting, with fun theatre lighting and atmosphere. And like actors, they got ready with the wedding party backstage in adjoining green rooms, which was a ton of fun as bridesmaids ran bck and forth to deliver chicken nuggets (essential) and finish makeup and hair. After the ceremony, we adventured around Edmonton’s river valley together, and laughed a bunch, and took a ton of photos before their reception at Coast Edmonton Downtown. (There was a poutine bar at the reception. It goes without saying, but poutine is always a great idea.) I’m so very happy I got to meet these two gorgeous women, and I feel so lucky that I got to capture their unique, happy, special love. Congrats and every happiness together, Mel and Kait!
