I love love LOVE this gorgeous, intimate backyard wedding that Blake photographed this spring, and I’m excited to share it with you! So many engaged couples had to rearrange their plans due to the pandemic – downsizing, changing venues, sometimes losing deposits, dealing with many disappointments and struggles along the way. But this has led to a summer of so many perfect little outdoor backyard weddings, filled with gorgeous details and so much emotion, like Blair and Tyler’s wedding.
Blake and I both love photographing intimate backyard weddings – they’re so much less stressful for the couple, you can decorate however the heck you want, hire whatever caterer you like best, and do things your way! Having a smaller backyard wedding frees you up in so many ways. We get great moments during these weddings – they are always so pretty and emotional.
I usually pick a fave detail or moment, but as you’re about to see, there are a lot of incredible moments in this day – a romanticAF first look, so many tears of joy, dancing grannies, amazing bridesmaid dresses, an incredible backyard gazebo, and all those beaming happy faces – even from the guests who, due to social distancing guidelines at the time, watched and enjoyed the festivities from over the fence!
