But Ioana and Jason’s wedding was memorable for a million reasons. The gorgeous setting. The perfect light. Their 2 sweet little bridesmaid daughters, and how they made them an integral part of their day. The dress. The emotional vows. The dress. The incredible decor. The most adorable kids all running around being hilarious. The family vibe. The dress. The delicious food. Wait, did I mention the dress???!?
I love Edmonton backyard weddings! There is always an intimate, welcoming feeling being invited to someone’s home for a momentous celebration like this one. What’s great about Edmonton backyard weddings? Well, a lot of things. A wedding imbues a home with such great joy and energy – you’re making these huge memories in your home, it’s just so special. I always get great candid photos of moments during a backyard wedding because everyone is relaxed and natural. Plus, there’s all sorts of other awesome bonuses to being in control of your own “venue”, like doing whatever y’all want for catering and alcohol – from your fave restaurant, having your fave cocktails! And you’re getting ready for your wedding in your home with access to all of your stuff, instead of cramming into a hotel room.
