Ceremony and reception venue – Carrie Ann and Pamela’s backyard

I’m not fancy. My idea of a fun night includes chilling around a campfire with my friends, drinking beers, grilling hotdogs and eating s’mores, and that was 100 per cent the vibe of Carrie Ann and Pamela’s reception.
We wandered up and down the back alleys and parking lots of their Edmonton neighborhood, finding little gems here and there within a 2 block radius of their house. (sidenote – I love location scouting, exploring neighborhoods for creative photo locations is a fun part of the job.)
Carrie Ann and Pamela had to reschedule their big day several times due to Covid lockdowns and venue closures. They set a fall date for a backyard wedding once all their friends were vaxxed. When I arrived, all of their special people were already present, lovingly transforming the backyard into the perfect little wedding venue.
Their ceremony and vows were so heartfelt, even the officiant teared up. I’m so happy for Carrie Ann and Pamela, and glad I got to be there to witness and capture their love. Thanks for the vegan hot dogs and fun times!
