Helen and Brian are newlyweds from Hong Kong who were honeymooning in Iceland, and decided to get some wedding portraits taken on their trip to one of the most gorgeous and scenic spots on the planet.
I love this country so deeply, it feels like my true home – my partner and I were married in Iceland, I have family there, and I’ve driven around the entire island so many times I’ve actually lost count! So I was thrilled to have the privilege of taking these two lovebirds on a mini tour of one of my favorite parts of Iceland, Snaefellsnes Peninsula. I chose this area of the island for their photo session because it’s relatively close to the capital city of Reykajvik where we were all staying – it’s a great day trip if you rent a car and you love a little road trip adventure as much as I do. There’s slightly less tourist traffic here during shoulder season than there is on the Golden Circle or the south coast of Iceland (of course these spots are also freaking gorgeous, I mean, hello it’s Iceland.) If you love to travel and you want to take your lover to this surreally beautiful little island for some epic photos, feel free to bring me along!
